Learn about our security PIN system and how it protects your account
At Spiteri Catering, we take your security seriously. That's why we use a 6-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) system to help protect your account and personal data.
“Think of it as your personal keyword for accessing support or verifying your identity with us.”
This PIN is one you create specifically for use with Spiteri — it is not linked to your bank, credit card, or any other service.
Your Security PIN is a 6-digit number that you create when you first register or request access to support. It's an added layer of security that helps ensure only you can access your account.
It acts as a simple but effective way to confirm your identity when dealing with our team.
It’s not connected to any external services — this is your personal support passcode for Spiteri Catering only.
Each time you log in, you'll be asked to enter two specific characters from your PIN — for example:
"Enter characters 1 and 6 of your security PIN"
This request will change every time you log in, making it extremely difficult for anyone else to gain unauthorised access to your account.
For example, if your PIN were 123456 (for demonstration purposes only), and you were asked for characters 1 and 6, your answer would be 1 and 6.
This approach is more secure than entering your full PIN every time, as it prevents your full code from ever being exposed — even to us.
It also protects you from:
Your PIN should be kept private and never shared. Only you will know it, and we will never ask for the full number — only selected characters, and only through our secure login system.
Keeping your PIN secure means protecting your:
